Girls in grades 4 - 8 can join our after school program to have fun learning computer science, coding, and business! Our program meets once a week throughout the school year and is completely free! Through Code Girls United girls can learn new skills in a fun setting and participate in our Regional App Challenge for a chance to win scholarship money towards college. Students work as a team to create an app to help address a community issue they care about!
Hero's STEAM Center offers Northwest Earth and Space Sciences Pathways (NESSPs) program to students in grades 3 - 8. Students follow a curriculum emulating current NASA missions, encompassing hands-on activities including designing and testing bottle rockets, building and programming Lego Rovers, capturing data remotely, learning about watersheds and carbon cycles, etc. Hero's teams "HUB" together in the Spring at MSU Bozeman with other teams to share their experiences and challenges.
Hero's hosts a variety of other activities including Tardigrade Hunts, Morse Code Escapades, Video Game Programming, Science Open House, Artistic Mask Workshops, 3D printing, Laser Engraving, and more for a wide range of ages and experience levels.
