Code Girls
Girls in grades 4 - 8 can join our after school program to have fun learning computer science, coding, and business! Our program meets once a week throughout the school year and is completely free! Through Code Girls United girls can learn new skills in a fun setting and participate in our Regional App Challenge for a chance to win scholarship money towards college. Students work as a team to create an app to help address a community issue they care about!
Artemis Roads II
Hero's STEAM Center is offering NESSP's National Student Challenge program to students in grades 6 - 8. This provides students an opportunity to design their own NASA mission, encompassing hands-on activities including rocket experiments, rover building and programming, and cultivating Moon-soil-grown plants. Teams submit mission results by June 5th, 2024 for recognition. The student mission team will compete at MSU-Bozeman for a chance to win an all-expense paid trip to the Kennedy Space Center!
